      BB- assigned to Metalcorp Group; Outlook stable

      Berlin, June 11th 2013 - Scope assigned a Corporate Rating of BB- to Metalcorp Group B.V. The rating outlook is stable. The rating indicates a moderate creditworthiness with a medium risk of default.

      The Dutch Metalcorp Group is a leading producer of secondary aluminum as well as a global trade company of steel, non-ferrous metal and other metal alloys. The company is located in Germany and Monaco and operates with distribution sites in more than 20 countries around the globe. The Metalcorp Group has a long-term track record in production and all trade segments. The group plans to issue a corporate bond with the aim to extend the steel trade, to optimize existing bank financings and to expand exploration projects.
