Scope Ratings today updates its Aviation Finance Rating Methodology. Scope’s existing ratings of aviation finance and aircraft non-payment insurance instruments are not affected.

The main updates are changes to the repossession and remarketing costs and duration used in the calculation of recovery rates, editorial changes and clarifications to improve consistency and comprehension.
